I work primarily with moving image, sound and sculpture. My artwork often reflects on contemporary anxieties of the body in flux, the fragmented self and the fluidity of realities. Recent moving image work has focused on an interest in physical / digital systems that seem to be working both in harmony and opposition. I mainly work with the computer – investigating the binary nature of the digital image whilst transforming time, frame and form with analogue interruptions and hand-drawn interventions. It is this analogue and digital juxtaposition that underpins my work – specifically with regards to the tension between memory, matter and materials of reproduction.
